PokeScan policy

Privacy notice

This notice summarises how PokeScan handles account, scan and collection data.

Effective 16 September 2026

What PokeScan uses

PokeScan uses your signed-in account identity, subscription status, saved collections and card identifiers to provide the service. Stripe processes payment details; PokeScan stores Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, not full card numbers.

Card photos

Uploaded images are sent for identification or processed locally in your browser. This MVP does not intentionally retain the image after the request; it stores the matched card ID, selected variant and condition when needed to restore a checkout.

Providers and retention

Identification and pricing requests may be sent to the configured card-data provider. Account, billing and collection records are retained while needed for the service, security and legal obligations. Final retention periods and data-request contact details must be set before public launch.

Your choices

You can remove saved cards, cancel billing and sign out in the app. A formal access, correction and deletion request process will be published before public launch.
